Our mission is to provide superior-quality, innovative, information technology solutions that help federal agencies best aid, serve, and protect the American people.Sanford is currently looking for Accounts Payable Clerks and Cashier Positions - Finance.Essential Functions:

• Requests, verifies, and matches coded support documents from departments.
• Enters invoices and payment requests into New World software and obtains appropriate departmental approval.
• Provides customer services for all accounts payable related inquiries.
• Creates payable checks and EFT payments and submits data to banking website.
• Performs monthly vendor statement reconciliations and follows up on identified discrepancies.
• Scans and manages invoices and vendor documents to ensure proper electronic storage.
• Notifies departments promptly of over-budget situations or policy violations.
• Maintains A/P vendor data and vendor accounts.
• Reviews credit card statement logs.
• Receives cash, check, or charge payments as required.Position Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of payable accounting, data entry, and an understanding of the use of purchase orders in the purchasing process.
  • Skill in use of personal computer including Microsoft Office, e-mail, the internet, and keyboarding.
  • Skill in proper telephone techniques and general office procedures such as organizing files and records.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • One year of accounts payable experience processing large volume of invoices required.
