Job Description:

PrideStaff Financial is assisting a stable, growing food production organization find a Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This is a long term, permanent position within the organization! Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement
• Assist Global Controller with month-end closing process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements. Assist with communication of financial results
• Assist in the Mid-Year and Full-Year Budget processes
• Support the annual audit and tax return processes by preparing schedules and reports
• Review general ledger and bank transactions to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as necessary
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of ERP software and eventually serve as system "super user"
• Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management
