Job Description Job Description Summary Position Overview: The
Lead Teacher at Empower Learn Create at UC is responsible for
planning and implementing a constructivist classroom environment
tailored to the developmental needs of infant children. This role
requires a passionate educator who can foster a nurturing and
stimulating learning atmosphere where children can explore, create,
and grow. ELC at UC has a commitment to teaching with a social
emotional lens. The environment supports the teacher's role with a
beautiful natural play space and innovative art studio. Our hours
of operation are 8-5 Monday through Friday. Duties Key
Responsibilities: Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
and activities based on constructivist principles to promote
holistic development in infant children. Create a safe, inclusive,
and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity,
exploration, and critical thinking. Collaborate with colleagues to
design and execute learning experiences that align with the
center's educational philosophy and goals. Assess and monitor
children's progress, providing individualized support and guidance
as needed. Foster positive relationships with children, families,
and colleagues, maintaining open communication and partnerships to
support children's learning and development. Maintain accurate
records of children's progress, attendance, and other relevant
documentation as required by regulatory standards. Requirements
Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Child Development Associate
(CDA) credential or higher in Early Childhood Education or a
related field. Proven experience working with infant-age children
in an educational setting. Knowledge of constructivist teaching
approaches and their application in early childhood education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
Understanding of child development principles and effective
practices in early childhood education. Ability to maintain a
positive and professional demeanor Commitment to ongoing
professional development and continuous improvement in teaching
practices. Nice To Haves Preferred: Master's Bachelor's or
Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Previous experience with curriculum planning and lesson design.
Familiarity with state licensing regulations and early learning
standards. Creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for
