The practices also provide health education and value-added, well-being services at the centers and around their neighborhoods to help both patients and community members improve their health.As a Business Intelligence Engineer 2, you will play a key role in the Primary Care Organization's data-driven decision-making process. You will be responsible for designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as helping manage the reporting infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and accessibility. The reports you create will be utilized by 250 clinics and nearly 3,000 users, making your work instrumental in providing valuable insights to our organization.Responsibilities
Job DescriptionAs a Business Intelligence Engineer 2, you will play a key role in the Primary Care Organization's data-driven decision-making process. You will be responsible for designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as helping manage the reporting infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and accessibility. The reports you create will be utilized by 250 clinics and nearly 3,000 users, making your work instrumental in providing valuable insights to our organization.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the information needs of various departments and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the accuracy and relevance of reports.
  • Optimize and maintain the reporting infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, resolving any issues related to reporting tools and data access.
  • Implement data security and access controls to protect sensitive information.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and reporting.
  • Participate in data quality initiatives and data governance efforts to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improving data visualization and reporting processes.
  • Conduct user training sessions to educate users on how to effectively utilize the reports and dashboards for their needs. -
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience in designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
    • Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling. (Minimum of 1 year experience)
    • Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
    • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
      Preferred Qualifications
      • Microsoft Power BI certification
      • Knowledge of healthcare data and terminology or has experience working within a clinic environment.
      • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Azure, Snowflake)

        Interview FormatOur interview process for the Business Intelligence Engineer 2 position consists of three stages designed to assess your qualifications, skills, and cultural fit within our organization:1. Initial Screening with HR Associate:In the first step, you will have an initial screening interview with one of our HR associates. This interview is an opportunity for us to learn more about your background, experience, and career aspirations. It s also a chance for you to ask any initial questions about the role and our organization.2. Interview with the Hiring Manager:If you successfully pass the initial screening, you will proceed to the second stage, where you will interview with the hiring manager for the Business Intelligence Engineer 2 position. During this interview, you can expect questions that assess your technical skills, experience, and alignment with the role s responsibilities. Be prepared to discuss your previous work and accomplishments in the field of business intelligence.3. Group Interview with the Team:In the final stage of the interview process, you will participate in a group interview with the team you would be working closely with in this role. This interview allows us to evaluate your compatibility with the team dynamics and your ability to collaborate effectively. It s also an opportunity for you to get to know your potential future colleagues.Portfolio Presentation:During both the interview with the hiring manager and the group interview with the team, you will be asked to give a 10-minute presentation showcasing your portfolio of work. This presentation should demonstrate your skills and experience relevant to the Business Intelligence Engineer 2 position. It s a chance for you to highlight your previous projects, data visualization abilities, DAX or SQL code and your approach to solving complex data-related challenges.We encourage you to prepare your portfolio presentation in advance and to bring any relevant materials that will help illustrate your accomplishments. We value your ability to communicate your expertise effectively.At each stage of the interview process, we will also provide you with an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our organization, team culture, and the challenges you may face in this role.

The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$65,000 - $89,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
