If you answered yes to these questions, then the Market Strategies and Technical Sales organization has the role for you The Demo Framework Program Manager for Splunk's portfolio helps drive the technical planning and tactics of our demonstration environment and strategy. The PM focuses on making the demonstration and proof experience an outstanding experience for customers. Their work on the demonstration environment helps reinforce the technical value proposition of Splunk's products, apps, and solutions, across the opportunity lifecycle and overall end user experience. They are also responsible for developing demonstration framework roadmap, develop and maintain business KPI on usage and delivery of the demo framework across the opportunity lifecycle The role involves ownership and project management across the Market Strategy and Technical Sales organization as well as engineering, product management, and cloud operations. The position is remote, and is a great opportunity at a fast-growing and dynamic enterprise technology company. Strong experience in program and product management, technical marketing or sales engineering within enterprise software is critical. Responsibilities Work with internal customers to analyze their needs and assess value, develop use cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy Organize and refine feature requirements with engineering, and design: adding detail and defining acceptance criteria for features and user stories Manage demo framework roadmap and timelines, and track corresponding development efforts Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of demo framework performance to evaluate future investment Requirements 4 years of experience in technical product marketing, product management, or sales engineering in enterprise software. 2 years of hands-on experience installing, using and configuring a combination of Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, Splunk IT Service Intelligence, SignalFx Infrastructure Monitoring, SignalFx Microservices APM and/or VictorOps, or equivalent. 5 years of IT or Security industry and/or practitioner (SRE, developer, software engineering, platform engineering, CloudOps) experience-preferably with hands-on experience using technologies Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure (certification is preferred) Hands-on experience working with modern programming languages including: Python, SPL, SQL, Java, PHP, .NET, Ruby, Node.js, Go, etc. Strong preference for applicants with hands-on experience handling and supporting cloud infrastructure, containers/Kubernetes, serverless functions, microservices and distributed tracing, SaaS solutions and multi-tenant architectures. A knack for using new software tools-from video screen-capture and editing, to collaboration software, and more. Strong ability to identify and tackle technical tasks related to infrastructure, networking, and other areas, to improve software demo performance. Passionate about groundbreaking technology, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience establishing value and translating this to effective technology-based demonstration use cases. Ability to effectively articulate and showcase technology with flair, and to different types of audiences. Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative software company.
