Overview:The objective for the Account Manager position is to serve as the primary interface to assigned clients and be responsible for the overall management of Client relationships, Client satisfaction, and Client retention. The Account Manager will manage Client relationships through industry knowledge, program planning, consultation, client need, up-selling, and revenue and activity forecasting. The Account Manager is the primary client relationship holder. The Account Manager is responsible for setting priorities to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction is achieved and client deliverables are met. The Account Manager is focused on the implementation and on-going execution of client programs. The Account Manager will spend approximately 50% of their time facilitating the flow of client programs through the company and 50% of their time in direct client interaction.J. Knipper and Company is an equal opportunity employer.Responsibilities:Responsible for supervising all assigned client specific Client Services activitiesProvides on-going consultation on all aspects of program strategy and program methodologyAccurately manage client billing, revenue, forecasting, annual budget and contract renewalsProvides regular reports to clients on budget, delivery timelines, program evaluation, recommendations, and strategic plansEnsures that established SLAs are achievedMonitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Identify, track and utilize KPIs to achieve business objectives and drive continuous process improvementWorks with internal teams to develop client-specific work-plans, monitor program delivery to ensure contract requirements and client expectations are met or surpassedProvides client feedback to company subject matter experts and client service teams for development and process improvementResponsible for maintaining, updating, understanding all client to company interactionsMonitors all communication between client and departmentKnows essential responsibilities and requirements for each clientDefines and develops project and program requirements with client and internal teamsDevelops, records and provides Knipper metrics for each assigned clientMonitors competitive landscape and identifies key trends that impact the overall program performance and client satisfaction and generate appropriate reportsResponsible for managing client relationships, including the leading of Quarterly Business ReviewsThe above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive.Qualifications:REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's degree with equivalent experience5 years management experience with 3PL, sample management or other distribution business and fulfillment knowledge is criticalKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Ability to build strong, productive relationships with clients and internal teamsAbility to collaborate with clients to achieve strategic 3PL business goalsMust be able to work independently, accepting accountability for achieving defined goals and objectivesMust demonstrate effective leadership skills and the ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive issuesProven ability to multitask and manage projects to successful completionProficient in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)Excellent interpersonal skillsExcellent organization skills and detail orientedExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience executing multi-faceted programs and meeting client deliverablesExperience within the pharmaceutical industry and client management or customer service is highly desirableDemonstrate leadership skills in successfully managing teams and collaboratingDemonstrate ability to influence, direct and guide a teamPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Location of job activities 100% insideNoise and/or vibrations exposureFrequently reach (overhead), handle, and feel with hands and armsStand and sit for prolonged periods of timeOccasionally lift, carry, and move up to 20 poundsTRAVEL & AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS:20% travelAbility to travel offsite to client meetings and industry conferencesAvailable to provide support during operational hours, as needed
