Our client has extensive experience in access control, biometric and behavior-metric identity verification, security and privacy, encryption and data protection, payments, miniaturization, and sensor technologies. Through its subsidiary, our client is a manufacturer and distributor of non-monitored and monitored personal emergency response systems ("PERS") sold through dealers/distributors and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

Job Description: Business Development ManagerThe Business Development Manager will pursue opportunities for long-term growth and revenue from a variety of businesses, organizations, and partners to create a robust market for our client. As a business development professional, you understand the fundamental drivers of the business, markets, and competitors. Your insight will be critical to making smart decisions in the pursuit of long-term business value. You will balance a focus on strategy, relationship management, and sales to fuel the growth path and achieve our company vision. You will capitalize on their excellent market reputation to drive new business opportunities, including working directly with the Leadership Team on the strategy and direction of the company.
Expectations/Responsibilities:

  • 100% heavy emphasis on developing net new business opportunities.
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline per targets.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
  • Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in alignment with strategies and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
    Skills & Qualifications:
    • Must have a bachelor's degree.
    • Must have experience selling to hospital systems and healthcare organizations and know how to discover the key decision-maker.
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience (post-undergraduate studies) in a sale and/or business development capacity with an emphasis on finding and closing strategic partnerships.
    • Must have a successful history of over-quota sales achievements and B2B negotiations, including formulating deal structures.
      Compensation & Benefits:
      • Base + Commission Compensation: Year 1 OTE $170k - $200k
