Summary:The General Manager will possess a high level of passion
and an entrepreneurial spirit that will inspire their team to
perform at its very best. The GM will strive to continually create
new realities in leadership, restaurant growth, and profitability,
as well as grow professionally with the restaurant. They will
create a fun, safe, and challenging work environment that our team
members will enjoy growing with. The GM guides by example,
demonstrating proficiency in all areas of the restaurant; hosting,
serving, running, bartending, bussing.We expect all managers to
build and design positive guest experiences as champions of
remarkable hospitality. Whether that is through service or
individual interactions, it starts with the management and is felt

guests!Accountabilities
- Hire and train restaurant staff

- Organize and oversee the staff schedules
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and
constructive
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance
with restaurant policy
- Oversee and support financial performance of the restaurant
Complete payroll for all store employees
Operations & Hospitality Responsibilities
- Demonstrate positivity, enthusiasm, and energy for both service
and hospitality
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer feedback,
positive and negative
- Act as key advocate for all restaurant elements, including
culinary direction, beverage program, and hospitality; Share this
knowledge with staff through daily pre-shifts, training, and
continued education
- Regularly review product quality and communicate with
vendors
- Oversee the daily service periods, ensuring steps of service
and hospitality, extending to
- all areas of the restaurant
- Responsible for monitoring, training, and development of new
front of house employees
- Responsible for correcting and coaching front of house staff on
both technical and cultural performance
- Consistently review operations and staff to identify any
problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- Oversee daily care of physical space using management team as
needed
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth
and restaurant events
- Recommend ways to reach a broader audience through marketing
initiatives
- Follow all established policies and procedures, including those
for product, hospitality, HR, health, safety, inventory control,
and sanitation
- Follow all established Food Safety, Alcohol Service, Health
Code, and cleanliness practicesExpectations
- Moves with a sense of urgency - set the tone for YOUR shift.
Brings a positive attitude & energy to work
- Owns their shift. Does not leave with things undone or
disheveled
- Must be willing and able to work past scheduled hours in cases
of call-ins and unexpected business spikes
- Know and use the core values to manage and make decisions,
inspire others to do the same
- Communicate effectively with team members on all levels be it
via face to face, shifts, meetings
- Understand the nature of the restaurant business and be able to
adapt and show flexibility in order to ensure a successful
operation
- Manages vendor relationships at store level, seeking upper
management approval before agreeing to new contractsQualifications
& Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years overall hospitality experience
- Proven customer service experience as a General Manager or
equivalent
- Excellent listening & communication skills
- Extended liquor, wine, and beer knowledge
- Desire to learn and grow
- Ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform
customers & staff
- Available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends,
and some holidays

Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job
functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or
quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent

standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
