Job Description:

Advanced ENT and Allergy, a long standing member of the Louisville and Southern Indiana healthcare community, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Allergy Manager. As a mid-size, Physician-owned practice, our company is large enough to have solid processes in place, but still maintain the small-team feel. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Allergy Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the allergy department and personnel throughout all office locations to ensure quality allergy services are provided to our patients.

Advanced ENT and Allergy highly values both the team member and patient experience and is seeking a like-minded individual to lead and guide this ancillary department. Given the practice's history and projected growth, the incumbent will need to be experienced, flexible, and forward-thinking. While based at our New Albany, IN office, travel to other company locations will be required for the support of our Team and patients.

*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

--- Manage the Allergy Department efficiently to ensure Team Members are being productive and patients are taken care of appropriately

--- Communicating with Serum Coordinator about productivity in the Serum Room

--- Handle Time and Attendance for Allergy staff

--- Create and monitor employee schedules for efficiency and productivity

--- Consulting with other departments to ensure efficiency

--- Being available for all staff to ask questions

--- Performs performance reviews for personnel annually

--- Responsible for sending approved invoices to accounting office, coded accurately

--- Manage allergy supplies and invoice each division monthly

--- Create incident reports concerning allergy staff or patients and investigate and reportfindings to Administration and/or Human Resources.

--- Oversee allergy training for all divisions

--- Implements total quality management into all department activities

--- Assures department meets regulatory agency guidelines

--- Develop policies and procedures for the Allergy Department as decided by the Administration and/or the Physician Allergy Committee and ensure implementation.

--- Develop job descriptions for each Allergy Department position and keep updated as changes occur

--- Participates in Board Meetings concerning the Allergy Department, as needed

--- Serves on Physician Allergy Committee and responsible for creating the agenda andtracking the meeting minutes

--- Able to fully perform and fill in for all allergy team member positions in the absence ofavailable staff for coverage

--- Run service analysis reports as needed

--- Work with HR regarding any disciplinary actions necessary for allergy staff

--- Coach, mentor and grow leaders within the department

*REQUIREMENTS*

Medical Assistant Certificate and/or Allergy Technician experience preferred, but not required. Certificates of allergy training from an accredited organization preferred or willingness to obtain required. Medical related training. EMR experience. Microsoft efficient. Management-related experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
