Our innovative and growing infrastructure and operations portfolio management group is searching for an experienced IT Portfolio Management Professional. We deliver exceptional value to department leaders by providing organization and prioritization expertise of portfolio functions e.g., resource management. financial thinking, demand management, etc.
The Lead, Portfolio Management collaborates with the business portfolio team to align the IT portfolio and demand. The Lead, Portfolio Management works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Lead, Portfolio Management organizes and prioritizes the InfraOps Compliance and enterprise programs based on IT Strategy, strategic roadmap, available and prioritized budgets, changes schedules and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Key responsibilities include Portfolio setup in ServiceNow, Org. alignment, allocation validation in partnership with the Finance team, guide, support, track and communicate on Compliance activities including but not limited to Problems aging, Overdue / Configuration changes, Resource/headcount management. Enable process and knowledge guide development for practitioners' self service. Lead and manage high rigor special programs with an outcome based delivery approach. Partner with enterprise teams to align on the processes and methodologies. Guide, mentor and onboard portfolio associates.
8 or more years of technical experience
3 or more years of project leadership experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
ServiceNow PPM experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
MBA or other Advanced Degree
IT Infrastructure experience
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
Work at Home Guidance
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
