Our company Alani Nutrition is a health and wellness brand that sells supplements, fitness snacks, and energy drinks through ecommerce and retail partnerships. Alani Nu is on pace to grow revenue by 3X-4X from 2020 to 2021 and again in 2022 due to growth in the retail market. Alani Nu's goal is to be the go-to 'Better for You Brand' for everything from nutritional supplements, energy drinks, snacks and much more. The role The Manager for the External Manufacturing team will be a key member of the organization assisting with the directing and managing of production operations of Alani's RTD, RTE and Sports Nutrition outside manufacturers. Total SKUs across these product lines exceeds 100 with annual spend on pace to be over $100M for 2021. This role is highly collaborative as it will partner with third-party manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and internal stake holders across all departments. The external manufacturing team will be responsible for meeting performance metrics in quality, cost management, inventory availability, and turnover. Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership among the Supply chain team to deliver monthly production and new project launches through a Stage gate process
• Operate as part of the lead communication team with the Supply planner to each third-party manufacturing facility under Congo's portfolio
• Translate the forecast into supply requirements to ensure proper inventory levels
• Problem solve issues and supply chain challenges/shortages to deliver projects on time in full
• Engage with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturing facilities to build business relationships
• Regularly report key metrics to the Supply Chain and Executive leadership team
• Other duties as required Key skills and experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Packaging engineering, Food Science, Supply chain, or other business discipline
  • 7+ years of experience at a CPG company or other related industry
  • Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate people, operate in a fast-paced environment, and balance multiple responsibilities
  • Experience with bottled beverages, inventory control, supply chain management and production planning
  • Excellent planning, root cause analysis/problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel as required
