Job Summary:
United Tote is a leading B2B technology and service provider for the pari-mutuel gaming industry, backed by the integrity and tradition of Churchill Downs, home of the world-famous Kentucky Derby. The Account Manager acts as a client advocate and works with internal departments to ensure client needs are understood and satisfied. This role is customer focused and builds and maintains a positive and trusting relationship between United Tote and our customers.
Essential Functions:

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with assigned customers.
  • Partners, collaborates and coordinates with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment, may act as a project manager in some instances.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Schedule, manage, coordinate and host regularly scheduled client meetings and events including the preparation and follow up on behalf of the client.
  • Keep accurate records pertaining to the assigned customer account(s).
  • Collect, analyze and distribute/communicate data to internal teams to educate them on the customer behavior.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures service levels and billing aligns with documented contractual commitments.

    Requirements:
    Required
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5-10+ years of demonstrated career progression and experience in directing and managing business operations and business resources; preferably in pari-mutuel wagering and racing operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Detail oriented, organized and diligent.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism
    • Proven ability to plan and manage projects and tasks
    • Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with internal teams who do not report directly to this role
    • Strong communication skills with multiple levels within an organization.
    • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, includes international travel
    • Weekend availability during large event Preferred
      • B2B Software as a Service experience strongly preferred
      • Project Management Training, CAPM or PMP
      • Process Improvement Training
