  • Oversee compliance with the system of quality control (SOQC) relative to KPMG's use of third parties and the identification of audit contractors; function as a control operator with the system of quality control
  • Facilitate the firm's compliance with ISQM, AICPA and PCAOB standards in the third-party compliance processes
  • Enforce a process to ensure a complete and accurate listing of third parties and audit contractors can be generated on demand; supervise the team's execution of processes and controls relating to third parties
  • Coordinate with other groups and individuals in execution of compliance requirements as set forth in organization's risk manual; review process and control documentation using firm-standard templates
  • Collaborate with others to remediate any non-compliance with firm policies and procedures both within and outside of the immediate team
  • Manage the SOQC audit for the third-party compliance, including facilitating and attending walkthroughsQualifications:
    • Minimum of eight years of recent auditing experience within a professional services firm
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in accounting; or college degree combined with prior internship or work experience
    • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Exceptional technical aptitude, analytical, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills; flexible and adaptable team player
    • Ability to work additional hours and travel as needed
    • U.S. citizenship is required
