Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.About Our OpportunityOur Managing Director Capital Markets provides strategic leadership and direction to the Food and Agribusiness Capital Markets team to achieve growth goals while maintaining the appropriate financial and risk profile balance. This position will lead a team to create unique syndication, participation, and other lending solutions to efficiently meet the needs of customers across a national territory.How You Will Spend Your Time

• Accountable for delivering on Food and Agribusiness financial objectives in the areas of sales, service, credit quality, credit administration, and effective servicing.
• Creating a culture of mutual success, ongoing business development and goal achievement by building and maintaining trusting and collaborative relationships with internal peers and banking partners.
• Employing, setting standards, evaluating performance, correcting deficiencies, developing skills, coaching, retention, and making salary adjustments.
• In conjunction with the Chief Lending Officer Diversified Markets, setting vision strategy, and priorities, for marketplace and succession needs to promote the long-term success of the Food and Agribusiness team.
• Networking with other Association leaders, community influencers, and/or political organizations to represent the needs of Food and Agribusiness customers.
• Maintaining technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process development capabilities.
• Modeling organizational values, inspiring a shared vision, and holding their teams accountable for culture preservation and growth. Minimum Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in business, finance, agriculture, or related field. 10+ years progressively responsible financial services or business development experience. 4 years experience in a leadership role for sales teams.
