Position Description The School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Clinic Associate, Senior to work as a front desk dental receptionist at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry Paducah, KY dental clinic, 4810 Alben Barkley Drive, Suite 230, Paducah, KY. Essential Duties and Responsibilities May Include:
  • Accept and post patient payments.
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to patient accounts.
  • Enter financial demographic data into computerized database system.
  • Issue receipts and balance cash drawer/bank deposit report.
  • Serve as a patient financial advisor, providing patients with available financial options (payment plans / healthcare credit cards, etc.) for planned treatment and the management of said financial agreements.
  • Follow up with insurance companies on past due accounts.
  • Work closely with students, faculty and staff in all matters pertaining to patient accounts and within the University of Louisville School of Dentistry financial guidelines. Additional HIPAA / privacy training upon hiring; Infection Control training.
