Malone Workforce Solutions is now hiring temp to hire positions in housekeeping and food service departments for the area's leading hospital system! Locations include downtown area and east end (including off Breckinridge Lane and Brownsboro.) Positions are true temp-to-hire after 400 working hours with the opportunity for upward mobility. Rotating weekends are required. Open positions are listed below. Housekeeping -$14.75-$16.25/hour -1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available -No housekeeping experience required Hospitality Associate - THREE DAY WORK WEEKS! -$14.74/hour -Will work three 12 hour shifts per week, typically around 6:30a-7:00p -Responsible for delivering food to patients' rooms Cook/Baker -$15.00-$19.67/hour depending on experience -Variety of shifts -Preparing food in the food and nutrition department under the direction of the executive chef, sous chef, and director -1 year or more of experience is required Dishwasher/Utility -$14.75-$16.25 -Responsible for cleanliness of all areas of kitchen, dish room, trash, etc. Cashier -$14.75-$16.25 -Cashier duties in the cafeteria or retail areas within the hospital AVAILABLE BENEFITS UPON BEING HIRED ON FULL TIME: -Health, vision and dental insurance -401K with company match -Tuition reimbursement program -Generous paid time off -Several other benefits and perks!   • Ensure successful inspections and initiate timely remedial action
  • Work around school and other obligations
  • Collect and sort soiled laundry and linens from throughout the facility
  • Implement blessings and liturgies to serve ministry's spiritual needs
  • Prepare the Daily Activity Summary/Shift Report at the end of each shift by gathering summaries of key activities of the shift and submitting the completed report
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area
  • Cleaning patient and discharge rooms, restrooms, wash sinks and counters, garbage, refill supplies
  • Serve as resource to department, hospital staff, and new employees for specific hospital systems by providing guidance on data abstraction needs, including developing educational materials
  • Cleaning each room and bath
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures in restrooms, common areas, treatment rooms and utility areas
  • Maintain 8 hours annually or 24 hours of registry or critical care education every three years, in accordance with VA State Office of Emergency Medical Services guidelines
  • Facilitate enhanced use of the MIDAS+ System by providing feedback and identifying enhancements or additional functionality for system implementation
  • Respond to patients present to the Standby Emergency Department as needed and assisting other personnel (e. g. nursing staff) in assessing, stabilizing and properly transferring patients
  • Provide direct patient care as assigned by registered nurse
  • Clean offices, patients' rooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and any other areas that require attention
  • Train 3 full days in the beginning of the month and 1 full day for Orientation
  • Take pride in work by following all WesleyLife policies and procedures and as directed by the Executive Director, Director of Environmental Services, or other members
  • Remove litter and debris or call Environmental Services for cleanup requests
  • Reflect that on the work day/hours section
  • Clean and properly stores equipment and supplies at the end of the shift
