Job Description:Full Time 40 weekly hours, day shift*Eligible for Sign On Bonus*Job Summary:The Radiation Center Registered Nurse will work with limited supervision providing nursing care for patients at both radiation centers.He/she will be responsible to support clinical staff, physicians and management in the continuum of care for the patient receiving radiation. He/ she will collaborate with all members of the healthcare team and will provide education, support and accesses to resources for the patient and family. . He/ she will prepare, review and audit health information data entered into the electronic medical record by radiation center staff for quality monitoring purposes and prepare reports. He/ she will direct clinical staff training and competencies related to patient nursing care and infection control policies.Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

• Experience: 3-5 years oncology experience required with experience in radiation oncology preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and performance behaviors that reflect BHE values
• Active Kentucky RN license required.
• ONS Certification preferred.Clinical attributes:
  • Strong interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationship skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of oncologic patient care.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good skills with Word, Excel, and BHE's electronic medical records.
  • Skill in problem identification and resolution.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner.
  • Exceptional public relations skills.
