The Unit Manager is responsible for directing the entire operation of a nursing unit in a long-term community. We are seeking someone with previous long term care experience to lead one of our units.

Unit Manager Duties:
--- Plan and facilitate meetings and committees to address resident care issues/concerns for the unit.
--- Manage area of responsibility with the goal of achieving and maintaining the highest quality of care possible.
--- Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that promote the recruitment, retention, development, and continuing education of nursing staff members.
--- Contact physicians as needed/necessary and ensure physician interventions are timely and appropriate

Requirements:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
--- Licensed as a RN/LPN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
--- Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred, but not required.
--- Three years of nursing experience, of which one year in a long-term care environment.
