If you love helping people care for their pets, we would love for you to apply to join our team today!*Licensed Veterinary Technician Role Requirements** Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.* Associate degree in Veterinary Technology* Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.*Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities** Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms* Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals* Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members* Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring* Competently perform dental prophylaxis*Licensed Veterinary Technician Benefits** Work with Newsweek's #1 Ranked Healthcare Company in 2023* Professional Development Assistance - You have goals.
