Great option for working parents or those furthering their career in nursing school!Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):Must have a valid license/certification in the state of KY (compact licensing a plus)Minimum 1 year of long-term health care experienceCurrent CPR or BLS certificateMust clear background checks and pre-employment drug screeningExperience in documenting and/or charting desiredPhysically able to perform job dutiesResponsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):Administer care in a long-term care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or supervisorParticipate in the delivery and evaluation of patient careEnsure the health, comfort, and safety of patients according to facility guidelinesFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular fieldRely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Perform a variety of tasks and work under general supervisionDocumenting and/or Charting, according to facility specificationsWise Medical Staffing firmly believes that our employees are the heart and soul of our Long-Term Care facilities!
