About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at UofL Health - Frazier Rehabilitation Hospital - Brownsboro. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the care and recovery of our patients, providing specialized therapy services to help them achieve optimal health and function.Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the care of patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs, and may be assigned to orient staff and students.
• Assess patients' needs, identify and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions, and work cooperatively with other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Observe and evaluate treatment effect, accomplishment of short and long term goals, and recommend changes to the physician as needed.
• Perform an appropriate assessment on each patient and perform reassessments as per policy, and perform accurate and timely QI scoring.
• Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function or participation in rehabilitation, and make appropriate interventions to reduce pain.
• Formulate and update patient-specific plan of care for physical therapy.Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
  • Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
