  • Inpatient neurosurgical service

    Schedule
    
    • Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM
      • No scheduled surgeries or clinic hours
      • Weekend call only; flexible weekend availability welcome
      • Patient volume may vary depending on surgical caseload and clinic coverage
        Procedures and Cases
        
        • No scheduled procedures
          • On-call for clinic patients admitted to the ER
          • Emergency neurosurgical coverage and inpatient consults as needed
            Requirements
            
            • Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
            • Active Kentucky medical license
            • ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
            • Residency/Fellowship in Neurological Surgery (ACGME or AOA-accredited) preferred
              Credentialing Requirements
              
              • Estimated credentialing time is approximately 45 days
