Pay Information $2,257 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years required License: Indiana or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - Required Triage experience - Must circulate and assist in the operating room Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will be expected to work three 12-hour night shifts per week. Every other weekend availability is required. Floating to the postpartum unit and NICU may be necessary if needed. The unit operates at a Level 2 OB and has a Level 3 NICU. Common patient diagnoses include pre-eclampsia, hypertensive disorders, gestational diabetes, preterm labor, intrauterine growth restrictions, and labor inductions. Special procedures include versions, cerclages, non-stress tests, and various deliveries, including cesarean sections and postpartum tubal ligations. The facility has a full range of equipment, including wireless fetal monitors and specialized rooms. All travelers must be willing to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals.
