$2,260 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse,
Progressive Cardiac Unit Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive
Cardiac Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: 2 years of acute care RN experience License: Registered
Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - 2 years of acute
care RN experience - IV insertion - Blood draws - Management of
PICC/Central Lines - CPAP/BiPAP experience - Trach care -
Epidural/PCA pump experience - Feeding tube management - Continuous
bladder irrigation - Certification for chemo administration - Wound
vacuum experience Description: This is a new unit managing the care
of post-invasive cardiology patients. Patients may require
procedures such as TAVR, cardiac catheterization, Watchman, Mitra
Clip, and electrophysiology. The unit provides care for NSTEMI
patients. The patient ratio is 1:3-1:4. RNs will need to read
telemetry strips. Top diagnoses include NSTEMI, PCI, ablations, PPM
implant, and ICD implant. Common equipment includes Femstop and
standard PCU equipment. RNs must be able to titrate medications.
Common medications administered include Nitroglycerin (IV, PO,
paste), Angiomax, Heparin, ASA, Plavix, Effient, Brilinta, beta
blockers, calcium channel blockers, and diuretics. Scrub color is
