Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per
Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care RN
experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
Must-Have: - IV insertion - Blood draws - PICC/Central Line
management - Dialysis Fistula assessment - A-line management - CVP
- IABP - Obtain 12 lead EKG - Cardioversion/defibrillation -
Epicardial pacer management - Procedural sedation - CPAP/BiPAP -
Ventilators - Nitric Oxide - Trach Care - EVD management - ICP
monitoring - Impella/LVAD - ECMO - Peritoneal dialysis - CRRT -
Epidural/PCA pump - Feeding tubes - Continuous bladder irrigation -
Chemo administration - Wound vac Description: Shift: 6:45 PM to
7:15 AM, every other weekend is required. BLS, ACLS, NIH
certification needed. 2 years of RN experience is mandatory.
Facility features high acuity. Common diagnoses include sepsis,
COPD, CHF, CAD, CKD, AKI, stroke, CABG, and AVR. Patient ratio is
1:2. Titration of medications is required. Common medications
include Levophed, Neo, Amiodarone, Precedex, Dobutamine,
Vasopressin, Cardene, Cardizem, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Nimbex, and
Epic Charting. Staff will work with equipment such as Impella,
IABP, PA catheter, and bladder scanner. Electrical monitoring of
