Experience in mixed acuity of Med-Surg and PCU, post-surgical
patients, and orthopedics Description: This position requires a
Registered Nurse to work in a mixed acuity unit. The unit serves a
diverse patient population, including post-surgical and orthopedic
patients. Nurses will have a patient ratio of 1 nurse to 5-6
patients. Standard equipment will be utilized, and electronic
medical records will be managed through a specific system. The
ideal candidate must possess effective communication skills and be
a team player. Candidates should expect to float to another unit as
needed. The dress code includes galaxy blue tops and galaxy blue or
black pants, with no sweatshirts, Crocs, or shoes with holes
allowed. Jackets should be scrub color or black without writing,
and no T-shirts are permitted. This role includes weekend hours
every third week and no call requirements. Nurses are expected to
provide high-quality care to all patients in the unit.
