Job Description:
Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Team Lead Profession:
Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2
years of supervisory experience required. License: Compact or state
license required at time of submission. Certifications: HSPA/CRCST
certification required; CHL preferred. Must-Have: Level 1
experience required. Description: Must have a minimum of 2 years of
supervisory experience. Level 1 experience is required. HSPA/CRCST
certification is required; CHL is preferred. Local travelers within
75 miles are not accepted. Medical or religious exemptions for
COVID-19 and flu vaccines are allowed. Candidates may float within
the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. References are
required. Call response time is 1 hour. Weekday call hours are
between 8 PM and 6 AM. Weekend call shifts are divided into two: 6
AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM. Floating requirements state that any
patients recovering will be transferred to the main recovery area.
Call frequency is anticipated to be 2-3 shifts per scheduling
period (6 weeks). Modules are billable, average 6.5 hours each, and
are completed annually.
