HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel • Specialty: Angioplasty Recovery (PTCA)/PCU • Number of Openings: 1 • Shift: 6:45PM - 7:15AM • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend • Call Requirements: None • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, KY License • Years of Experience: 2 • Float Requirements: Yes – Any Med Surg or PCU Unit Information: • Number of Beds: 14 • Patient Ratios: 4:1; 5:1 (& specialty teams w/TAVR, MitraClip or Watchman) • Equipment: Phillips Telemetry Monitors; Safeguards; FemStops; TR Bands; TVP • EMR: Cerner Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: 2 Years Cardiac PCU experience, IV insertion, Telemetry/dysrhythmia/12-lead EKG • Preferred Skillset/Experience: PCCN, Pre/Post Cath Lab, Sheath pull experience • Type of Patients on Unit: Cardiac Recovery * Cardiac experience (PCU) or Pre/Post Cath Lab experience; PACU alone will not be approved. THIS IS NOT PACU Comfortable caring for a 4-5 intermediate patient team
