Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment - Location:
Louisville, KY 40202 - Assignment Type: Travel nursing job - Start
Date: November 24, 2025 - End Date: February 23, 2026 - Contract
Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (16-hour night
shifts) - Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed (32–36 hours/week) -
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800 - Weekend Requirement: Every
other weekend - Holiday Requirement: Minimum 1 holiday shift -
Float Requirement: Float to Med Surg or PCU units as needed - Dress
Code: Galaxy blue tops; galaxy blue or black pants PCU Registered
Nurse Qualifications - Active Kentucky RN license or compact state
nursing license - Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac PCU nursing
experience - Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications -
Proficient in IV insertion, telemetry/dysrhythmia monitoring, and
12-lead EKG - Experience caring for 4–5 patient intermediate teams
- Preferred: PCCN certification, pre/post Cath Lab experience,
sheath pull experience - Strong teamwork, communication, and
clinical skills PCU RN Responsibilities - Provide high-quality
nursing care to cardiac recovery patients in a 14-bed Progressive
Care Unit - Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and rhythms -
Perform IV insertions and manage cardiac drips and interventions -
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and
implement patient care plans - Float to Medical Surgical or other
PCU units as required - Document patient care using Cerner EMR
system - Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered
