Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Lexington, Kentucky, 40536! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU
Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License:
Compact or State License required at time of submission
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: IR PACU
experience with phase 1 recovery and a minimum of 1 year ICU
experience Description: This position is an IR PACU role. Rotating
start times of 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, and 8:00 AM are required.
Candidates must have experience caring for pediatric patients.
Shift times may vary according to the needs of the unit. 3-4 late
stays are required every 6 weeks. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
certifications are mandatory. PALS does not need to be in hand at
the time of submission, but candidates must be willing to obtain it
prior to the start. Candidates will float within the hospital or to
nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. Rehire eligibility will be
checked by HR weekly, and it is essential to disclose prior
employment with this facility. Candidates must be able to monitor
phase 1 recovery and ICU patients. They will be expected to pre-op
patients and care for them upon return from interventional
procedures. The PACU team will follow patients to the main recovery
area if necessary. Candidates are required to have experience in
PACU and phase one recovery. Previous charge experience is an
advantage but not mandatory. Modules are completed during
