Job ID: 13980 Practice Details Seeking a
board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist to join the program as
a Non-Invasive/General Cardiologist. We are seeking
academically-oriented clinicians who excel in both patient care and
teaching of house staff and fellows with a strong interest in
clinical or translational research. The appropriate candidate will
have clinical interests in consultative and outpatient
cardiovascular care, and non-invasive imaging (echo, nuclear, MRI,
CT). Excellent opportunities for collaborative research exist with
the state-of-the-art facilities at the Institute of Molecular
Cardiology and Center for Cardiometabolic Science. Applicants must
be eligible for Kentucky licensure. This robust academic department
consisting of specialists in all subdivisions of Cardiology
including electrophysiology and complex ablations, interventional
and structural cardiology, heart failure & transplant/mechanical
device support, ECMO, complex cardiac and aortic/vascular surgery,
cardio-oncology, preventive cardiology, and advanced imaging. There
are additional specialized programs in infiltrative cardiomyopathy,
women's heart health, and a specialized Lipid Clinic. Research
initiatives will be encouraged, and candidates will be expected to
establish an academic portfolio and an area of expertise. Fellow
and resident education is an integral component of the job. There
are opportunities for academic advancement and leadership in
committees depending on the level of interest and performance. The
