working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional
Radiology RN in Lexington, Kentucky, 40536! Job Title: Registered
Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: 2 years in Interventional Radiology License: Compact or
KY State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Level one experience preferred Travel experience
required Neuro procedure experience required Candidates must have 2
years of IR experience Candidates must have 1 year of Neuro
experience or experience with Neuro in a general ICU Candidates
must be comfortable and skilled in caring for neonates through
geriatric patients in a procedure setting Candidates must rate
themselves a 3 or 4 in the following procedures: Cerebral
Angiography, Carotid Angiography, Neurologic Thrombolysis,
Vertebroplasty Candidates must also rate themselves a 3 or 4 in
CVA, aneurysms, myelograms, and lumbar punctures Description: This
position requires previous charge experience. Candidates should
have skills in Interventional Radiology, including but not limited
to cerebral angiography, carotid angiography, neurologic
thrombolysis, and vertebroplasty. Candidates must demonstrate the
ability to manage and interpret dysrhythmias. Procedural sedation
administration and monitoring is a necessary skill. The daily
census for this unit is approximately 50 patients. The average
number of visits per day is also about 50. Candidates will provide
interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory
services, and social services. Call is required, with a response
time of 30 minutes. Candidates should be available to do call 1-2
days during the week and 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule.
Compliance requirements include completion of specific exams to
ensure readiness for the role. Candidates may float within the
facility or to nearby affiliates. This role requires adaptability
and teamwork in a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidates should
be prepared for potential weekend and weekday call
