Kentucky, 40536! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Experience Ability to work a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per
schedule period Description: This position requires Level One
trauma experience. Candidates must possess at least two years of
ICU/Tele experience with medical/surgical trauma and critical
patients. Experience in a teaching hospital is essential. BLS,
ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. A current KY or
Compact license must be available for verification. All licenses
and certifications must be obtained before starting the position.
Candidates will be required to work a minimum of 6 weekend shifts
during each schedule period. For the first two weeks on assignment,
only single days off may be requested. After the first two weeks,
longer time off can be requested. Requests for time off (RTO) must
be submitted at the time of application and will not be accepted
once the assignment has commenced. Travelers must be able to adhere
to their full schedule without any conflicts. No requests for
holiday time off will be accepted. Candidates must float within the
facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed. Knowledge in
trauma-level I procedures is mandatory. Patient ratios during
shifts are typically 2 patients per nurse. Diverse patient
conditions include sepsis, GI bleed, DKA, multi-system organ
failure, and respiratory failure. Floating may involve traveling to
specific departments for patient care when necessary. Candidates
must have experience with critical care procedures and equipment
management. Rehire eligibility will be assessed prior to the
assignment. Compliance with mandatory credentials is essential for
all applicants. Candidates with a history of licensing issues will
not be considered. Safety protocols and infection prevention
measures must be strictly followed. This role demands a
collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams to ensure
high-quality patient outcomes. Effective communication and
