General Gastroenterologist – Full-Time Location: University of
Kentucky HealthCare Department: Gastroenterology Schedule:
Full-Time | 90% Clinical, 5% Teaching, 5% Professional Development
Position Summary: University of Kentucky HealthCare is actively
recruiting full-time General Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic
academic team. Faculty positions are full-time (1.0 FTE),
non-tenure track, with academic rank commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in
patient care and a passion for advancing the field of
gastroenterology. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive
inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services. Perform
diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Participate in
the education and training of medical students, residents, and
fellows. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver
high-quality, patient-centered care. Qualifications: MD or DO
degree from an accredited institution. Board certified or board
eligible in Internal Medicine or equivalent. Completion of
Gastroenterology fellowship training program. Eligible for medical
licensure in the state of Kentucky. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine
and teaching. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in academic or
