Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is
working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Lexington,
Kentucky, 40536! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of
experience in specialty required. Trauma experience in an adult
trauma/surgical unit at a level 1 trauma center is required.
Progressive care experience is required. License: Compact or state
license required at the time of submission. Certifications: Basic
Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Trauma Nursing
Core Course (TNCC) preferred Must-Have: Experience with orthopedic
injuries, spinal injuries, massive wound care, and traumatic brain
injuries is required. Trauma experience must be noted in work
history. Description: Candidates must have experience working in an
adult trauma/surgical unit. Progressive care experience is a
requirement. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS), and NIHSS certifications are required. Candidates
should have experience with spinal cord injury, traumatic brain
injury, orthopedic trauma, and wound care or wound vac. Modules and
compliance exams will be required as part of onboarding. Candidates
should be prepared to float within the facility or to nearby
affiliate hospitals. Rehire eligibility must be checked prior to
submission. Please note that local travelers are not accepted
within a specified radius. Candidates may be required to be
