Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Louisville, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,172 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/15/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40217! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Two (2) years of acute care RN experience - Epic experience Description: A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse focuses on safe, effective patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. The RN is responsible for maintaining a financially stable unit, promoting personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members. Applying the caring processes of the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care, the RN has the responsibility to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care. The RN focuses on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction. The RN applies educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting staff. Job Responsibilities: Assessment: Performs assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure or as warranted by patient condition; demonstrates the ability to make sound independent decisions. Development and Implementation: Initiates, prioritizes, and implements the plan of care and reviews and revises the plan as indicated. Collaborates with patient/family and interdisciplinary services; utilizes resources appropriately to support the needs of the organization, patient, and family. Evaluation: Monitors and documents the response to clinical interventions. Education: Facilitates, coordinates, provides, and evaluates education specific to patient and family needs as appropriate to the care, treatment, and services provided during their stay and at discharge. Leadership: Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel. Functions as a mentor/preceptor and demonstrates, encourages, and facilitates teamwork. Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement appropriately. Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts and implements practice changes.
