Position Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession:
Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 14
weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years of
experience in sterile processing required. Level 1 or Level 2
trauma experience required. License: Compact or state license
required. Certifications: HSPA/CRCST certified required. Must-Have:
Proficient in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, case carts,
and scope reprocessing. Experience in service lines: Ortho, Neuro,
CT, Trauma, Vascular, Oral, Plastics, ENT, and General surgeries is
required. Experience with fiber optics is required. Description:
Responsible for reprocessing surgical instruments and ensuring
sterile procedures. Must work collaboratively as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills are
essential. Compliance with sterile processing tech competency exams
and skills assessments is required. No time off requests are
granted during the first contract. Proficiency in chemical agents
for decontamination and sterilization wrapping procedures is
essential. Experience with diverse patient age groups including
neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics is required.
Candidates must be available to float within the facility or nearby
affiliates if necessary. Previous experience in Level 1 trauma
centers is preferred. Hard stop requirements include 2 years of
experience and certification in HSPA/CRCST. Candidates must have
documented experience in specific service lines. Strong
organizational skills and ability to manage instrument tracking are
