Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. • ASN completion required Requirements: • Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: At least 6 months of this needs to be neuro. Trach care, vent, IV’s, PICC, central lines, wound care, bowel programs, TPN, drains/tubes, pulmonary patients with trachs, laryngectomies, central line, G-tube/Peg-tube (tube feeds); VADs (core staff responsible) Required Credentials: Diploma/Transcript (ASN/BSN) Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Free parking, badge access parking garage Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend. Holiday Expectations: Will be expected to work some holidays. If there are back-to-back holidays in the contract (i.e. Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day) they will be assigned one of the grouping, not both Floating Requirements: Could float within scope of practice here. All staff evenly float; mainly use Float Pool to float. Travelers do not care for peds patients. 7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027.
