Job Description:
Aramark is seeking a Director of Dining Operations to oversee
the comprehensive functioning of food and beverage services within
educational institutions. This role is crucial for maintaining the
high standards of culinary service, ensuring that each dining
facility under Aramark's management meets our commitment to
excellence and innovation. The Director will be adept at managing
multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-volume environment and
driving exceptional dining experiences for students and faculty
alike. Oversee the day-to-day operations of dining services across
multiple campuses or institutions ensuring seamless service
delivery. Develop and implement operational standards and
procedures that align with Aramark's commitment to excellence.
Manage budgets, forecast resource needs, and control expenses to
meet financial targets without compromising service quality.
Collaborate with culinary teams to design menus that meet dietary
needs and preferences while maintaining nutritional standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food
service areas. Conduct regular reviews and audits of dining
operations to ensure adherence to established standards and
policies. Lead, train, and develop a large team of food service
professionals, promoting a culture of high performance and
continuous improvement. Engage in contract management and vendor
negotiations to procure high-quality, cost-effective food
materials. Act as Aramark’s representative with clients, addressing
concerns and fostering a positive relationship that aligns with
business objectives and client satisfaction. Strong leadership and
personnel management skills. Excellent financial acumen with proven
ability to manage budgets, costs and implement effective
cost-control measures. Robust experience in food service management
and operations. Solid understanding of health and safety
regulations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to
effectively deal with diverse teams and client bases. Ability to
innovate and enhance dining services. Medical Insurance Dental

Service Manager (CFSM) or similar. ServSafe Certification.
