PharmaCord is seeking a highly motivated, experienced HR Specialist
who has a proven record for handling employee matters of all types
with the employee and the company in mind. You might just be the

demonstrate through examples of your experiences working through
tricky employee relations situations; you possess strong verbal and
written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize time,
demonstrate a sense of urgency, and understand the value of
providing amazing customer service!
A typical day in the life of the HR Specialist will include the
following:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Advise management and employees on interpretation of policies,
guidelines, and procedures.
Work with managers and employees to investigate and resolve
employee relations issues.
Manage employee data in HRIS to ensure accuracy and timely
submission before payroll processing.
Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan
provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general
inquiries.
Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to
leaves of absences/disabilities.
Assist with the open enrollment process, as well as ongoing new
hire benefit enrollments.
Prepare reports and analyze data for information reporting.
Oversee the unemployment process including timely responses to
claims.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect
continual improvements in efficiency of department and services
performed.
Serve as a resource to managers and employees across the
company.
Lead special projects related to employee engagement, leader
empowerment, benefits, wellness, etc.
Assist in recruiting during high-volume hiring including, but not
limited to, sourcing and outreach, working with marketing,
scheduling interviews, and following up with candidates.
Other duties as required.

when needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline required; Master's degree
preferred
1-3 years of experience in HR role is required
Experience with employee relations, absence management and HRIS
systems (Ceridian Dayforce experience a plus)
Must be well-versed in current labor laws to ensure compliance
Excellent understanding of Microsoft products (Excel, Word &
PowerPoint)
Experience administering benefits and other onboarding steps
strongly preferred
All employees working onsite in a PharmaCord facility are required
to be vaccinated against COVID-19
We are located in the River Ridge Commerce Center at 150 Hilton
Drive, Jeffersonville, IN. You must be willing to work in this
location; PharmaCord does reimburse for tolls if applicable, at the
frequent user rate. This rate is applied after 20 round trips per
month (valued at $574.60 per year)
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
This is a full-time exempt position.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to
sit for long periods of time, use hands to type, handle or feel;
and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to type 35 WPM with 97%
accuracy.
Although very minimal, flexibility to travel as needed is
preferred.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role
routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones,
photocopiers, etc.
