Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our people-focused global HR and Administration team! You'll be involved in all things payroll, compliance, benefits administration, and more. You'll work closely with the Payroll and HR team to support payroll across multiple entities and countries. As part of the HR team, we ensure our stakeholders are receiving accurate and timely communications regarding all-encompassing payroll matters. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for numbers and a keen attention to detail. You will be able to handle complex payroll calculations, navigate international payroll laws, and process payroll in a timely and efficient manner. This role will be able to assist the US Payroll Specialist and has both US and APAC specific end-to-end payroll experience

What you'll do


  • Coordinate and process payroll for employees across multiple countries and assist the US Payroll team with data entry and cleaning, reporting, taxes, compliance, and processing as needed
  • Manage payroll records and ensure accuracy of data
  • Provide support for audits and other payroll related activities
  • Work with the HR team to process claims, reimbursements, and oversee benefits
  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate employee data is maintained
  • Guide managers and employees through proper workflows to ensure proper documentation and payroll approval
  • Work with the Finance team to help audit and ensure compliance
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer any employee payroll queries
  • Validate work hours and attendance of employees
  • Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions
  • Manage and track employee overtime and paid/unpaid time off


    Who you are

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting (or related field)
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in end-to-end payroll processing in the US and APAC regions with 2 years focused on US payroll processing
    • Excellent knowledge of APAC and US payroll regulations and laws
    • Experience using payroll processing software such as Paylocity, ADP, and Sprout
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
    • Eagerness to constantly learn and not being afraid to tackle the unknown
    • Detail Oriented - Letting nothing slip through the cracks
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly and professionally
    • Available to work US hours (CST)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Experience with Google for Work (Sheets, Docs, Drive) is a plus
