A key member of the IT Development Team, serving as a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester of all solutions developed by the development team ranging from Salesforce applications to backend APIs. The QA Tester is primarily responsible for ensuring that features that are developed are released to production bug free along will completing regular regression test to ensure system health. The QA Tester will be responsible for building test plans for various projects. The QA Tester will report to the Development Team Manager.



Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Operate as a QA Tester on any new features developed by the IT Development Team
  
• Develop and document testing plans
  
• Responsible for documenting and completing regular regression testing on systems supported by the IT Development Team (Salesforce, Azure API, and various customer integrations)
  
• The position will operate within a Scrum team
  
• Documenting release items for production releases
  
• Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs as assigned via the ticketing system
  
• Proficient with technology, including office applications, database systems, executing data imports, running exports, merging records, and reporting
  
• Accountable for confidentiality and security policy adherence for assigned systems
  
• All other duties as assigned
  
  
  Position Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field is highly preferred, but not required. Will also consider combinations of education and/or IT Certifications in addition to relevant experience
    
  • Experience with the Salesforce Platform
    
  • Experience with Postman or other API testing tools
    
  • Possess a basic understanding of programming concepts and languages
    
  • Strong time management skills
    
  • Strong understanding of software documentation, software development processes and software requirements
    
  • Must be knowledgeable and current on Information Technology trends and best practices
    
  • Must have excellent time management skills, well organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    
  • Must be service oriented with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
    
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, trouble-shooting, and decision-making abilities.
    
  • Action-oriented and proactive, continually displaying a sense of urgency.
    
    
    Levels:
    
    
    • 
      
    • QA Tester I: Able to complete small tasks with no guidance and able to complete medium to large tasks with guidance. Able to create testing plans with guidance. Able to operate within a defined process.
      
    • QA Tester II: Ability to complete small to medium tasks with little to no guidance and ability to complete large/complex tasks with guidance. Able to create testing plans. Ability to provide some guidance to a QA Tester I and other peers. Provides input on team and internal QA standards. Able to operate within a defined process.
      
    • QA Tester III: Ability to complete small to large/complex tasks with no guidance while operating as a QA Tester, and will provide guidance to Business Systems Analyst (I or II), and QA Tester (I or II), and other peers. Able to create complex testing plans at any level. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining internal QA standards.
