For the short-term contract / temporary PC Technician role, you will be positioned in the Jeffersonville, Indiana, area.What you get to do every single day- Manage and execute technology implementation projects- Provide documentation of daily data communication transactions, issues and repairs made or installation activities- Complete transferal of data from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware as well as break/fix- Help test functionality and support end users- Comply with company quality standards to ensure sound electronic data records- Manage inventory of equipment, including collaborating on potential purchases- Diagnose, restore, rebuild, and refurbish computer hardware, such as PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and additional IT equipment- Disassemble, pack, move and set up/install on site- Handle all imaging and preparation tasks for new computers- Arrange for repairs through the appropriate vendors- Communicate with ticket submitters effectively and on a regular basis- Install and repair printers, troubleshooting problems as needed- Break down, box and ship old equipment
