Military Veterans are Encouraged to Apply. -Akkodis is seeking a Appliance Technical Support Specialist for a 6 month onsite contract position (with possible extension or perm conversion.) Also remote opportunity available after proving ability to work independently) with a client located in Louisville, KY. You will be responsible for providing appliance repair technical support to the field appliance servicers, including Factory Service Technicians and Customer Care Servicers. You will address up to 30 to 40 calls in an eight hour shift. You will search information database for troubleshooting details and make recommendations. Flexible, but consistent, schedule that must include working 11:00 am to 3:00 pm EST Monday through Friday. Saturday availability a plus.

Pay/Salary Range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour



Appliance Technical Support Specialist job responsibilities include:

• Provide timely, accurate and professional technical support to field technicians and services via telephone, utilizing all available resources.

• Act as a liaison among Consumer Operations and Manufacturing components regarding technical and service issues, including approval for product exchanges.

• Provide timely, accurate product failure information to the business to drive root-cause quality fixes.

• Work with Field Service Technicians and management to drive first time call completion.



QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma, Vocational training or equivalent

• Three to five years as an Appliance Technician or Appliance Repair Technical support Agent

• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Excellent phone customer service and troubleshooting.
