Job Description:

An employer is looking for a System Administrator for a permanent position based out of the Louisville, KY area. This candidate will join a team of 3 infrastructure engineers and work to support the overall server environment of the organization. On a daily basis this candidate will work out of a ticket que acting as the third tier of technical issues. Depending on the work this employee could support folder permissions within Active Directory, O365 and Exchange escalations. When they aren't supporting the ticket que they will be assigned to project work which consists of upgrading the Servers to 2022 and work towards implementing the environment to the cloud. The current environment is about 130 servers spread across 20 sites in North America so this role requires about 5% of travel to sites. This client is willing to train junior candidates up as long as they have a good understanding of the technical piece with an eager to learn and communicate and grow within the organization.
- Any security knowledge

- Cloud knowledge or experience team is moving towards Azure

- Scripting experience with PowerShell

- Project Management experience

- Experience troubleshooting SharePoint
- 1-5 years of experience administrating Windows Operating Systems environment (Servers are Windows 10, Windows 2008, 2012 R2 and 2016)

- Experience administrating and supporting Microsoft365 and Admin Center within O365

- Experience working with Active Directory Domain Services and Domain Controller

- Vmware or Hypervisor experience
