Position Details:
Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Remote, home-based opening in Kentucky or Indiana within an hour of an international airport (greater Louisville, greater Lexington, greater Northern Kentucky (CVG) or greater Indianapolis) or in Minster, OH at corporate HQ.
Shift: Primarily normal day working hours.
Compensation: $32/hr.-$37/hr. depending on location/quals/experience + OT (1.5X after 40 hours; 2X any Sunday work) + $75 daily per diem travel pay paid out weekly + company vehicle for work use. Paid door-to-door for hours worked. Guaranteed 45 hours of pay weekly.

Travel: 90% travel. Extensive regional, some national travel required. Most of the travel in this territory is more flying than driving. You will be on the road on average 5-6 days at a time going from job to job and must be able to work on/over the weekend as required.

Position Description: Company is hiring customer-focused professionals with a positive attitude and great customer service skills for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of company presses, automation equipment, and machinery at customer locations. Key duties include:
--- Install, commission, train, troubleshoot, setting up, & provide technical knowledge and support
--- Provide a communication link between customer and the company
--- Create & develop procedural documentation & complete/process service orders
--- Promote company products and service support to grow business
--- Provide feedback to product specialists and technical support

Requirements: Excellent industrial mechanical experience (motors, drives, transformers, hydraulics, pneumatics) with good in industrial maintenance skills in troubleshooting, installation, operation, and repair. Good technical knowledge and logical troubleshooting skills with solid decision making, problem solving, attention to detail, accuracy, and eagerness to learn & grow. Ability to read blueprints & schematics. Excellent communication and custom relation skills, professional image, and project leadership ability. Good driving record and credit to hold a company expense card. Pass a full-panel drug test.

Training: A 6-month program combining OJT, online home training, and in-person training for the first 6-weeks at HQ and training center in Minster, OH. Typical structure is 2-weeks of the training program followed by 2-weeks OJT. You will travel home for all/most weekends for the portions of training in Minster.
