Service Desk Specialist

Modis is seeking a Service Desk Specialist for a
contract-to-hire job in Louisville, KY 40222. All candidates must
be able to work FULL TIME for any company in the U.S.
The Service Desk Specialist will diagnose network and desktop
issues for 240 locations across 13 states. One must have strong
networking and desktop knowledge to diagnose and support calls from
employees with various levels of technical knowledge. Excellent
customer support skills are a MUST! The company is growing quickly
and has almost doubled in size from 2013.
AS A SERVICE DESK SPECIALIST, YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT NOT
- Provide Tier I and II phone support for desktop, tablets,
printer and network issues.
- Escalate end-user calls to Tier II and III support for
resolution, when needed.
- Resolve email tickets issues quickly.
- Log and track issues in a timely manner.
- Research issues to find solutions.
- Logs and tracks all inbound calls utilizing current call
- Assigned and complete various projects from being a
product liaison for major products to working with other corporate
departments and third-party developers to solve technical
- Must be available and willing to work such weekends,
holidays and after normal business hours as necessary or desirable
to meet the business needs
SERVICE DESK SPECIALIST REQUIRED SKILLS AND
- 2+ years of experience supporting hardware and software
- Ability to troubleshoot a network - is there
- STRONG customer service and communication
- Team player and work independently to finish projects and
- Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and take on
responsibility – a “go getter”
