Job Description:
The Technical Product Specialist will serve as the space and power subject matter expert for sales, sales engineers, customer success and deal desk while also serving as the business advocate for operations, DCIM, and customer implementation to drive continuous product and process improvements. This individual will work to support the Digital Product Manager from a colocation perspective in defining requirements for customer needs especially tied to environmental, infrastructure, and power management. The scope of this role encompasses the leveraging of the individual's data center experience and knowledge to manage and drive the roadmap tied to space and power (colocation) alongside its ancillary offerings (ex. remote hands, physical security, office, etc.).
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Influence the technical aspects of the product strategy, roadmap, requirements through voice of the customer, expertise, and market research
• Optimize performance of space and power of the Data Center Services portfolio through cross functional collaboration driving recommendations to implement improvements
• Recommend and support both product launch and end-of-life strategies for Data Center offerings
• Collaboration with Operations, DCIM, and FP&A to manage inventory needs and drive cost reductions to meet business KPIs
• Support sales, sales engineers, and deal desk with design requests and other operationally day to day questions
• Partner with the Digital Product Manager on customer management via Flexential Experience Portal tied to power, infrastructure, and environmentRequired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting/problem solving
  • 2+ years of experience within a critical infrastructure environment and/or IT Support Environment
  • 2+ years of experience with customer support
  • An understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations, including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAH units
  • An understanding on customer requirements, design, and solutioning
  • Exceptional communication skills in all scenarios
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change
  • Ability to develop and build relationships with cross functional stakeholders to drive initiatives and resultsPhysical Requirements

        Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $84,200 - $107,600. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate's experience, location, and qualifications.
        Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
