information technology (IT) engineer's primary duty is to work
closely with a variety of technology products, from their design to
regular repair and upkeep. They generally provide their services as
needed for their companies regarding software, hardware, and
databases and, depending on a specialist's skill. This position is
a SharePoint administration position to build, maintain, and
troubleshoot configurations to meet the needs of individual or
corporate projects. Relationships Reports to Senior IT Manager.
Essential Functions SharePoint Administration Implement security,
maintenance and support of enterprise systems in accordance to
company policy and regulatory compliance Document requirements,
defines scope, define objectives, and formulate systems to parallel
overall business strategies Document support incident information
in the appropriate helpdesk, project management, and/or change
management tracking system Act as contact point and provide
training to personnel on SharePoint or other enterprise systems
Write detailed description of user needs, program functions,
standard operating procedures and administrative policies required
to develop or modify enterprise systems Efficient at managing
compliant change protocols and applying critical updates as
necessary using proper documentation practices used in the
pharmaceutical industry Analyze and resolve end user hardware and
software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion
Develop, maintain, and control backups, and business continuity
strategies for assigned enterprise systems Create reports for end
users to trend and analyze system data All other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading
of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching
with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional
stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional
lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Must comply with EHS
responsibilities for the position. Working conditions will be
heating ventilation and air condition controlled. Working in a lab
environment will require working with skin irritants, lung
irritants, electrical equipment, sharp instruments, toxic
materials, and hazardous waste. Safety procedures will be followed
to minimize exposure, including clean room gowning. Qualifications
High School/GED, required Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred 0
– 2 years relevant experience Must be able to read and understand
English-written job instructions and safety requirements Technical
RequirementsExperienced in network, telecom, & server support
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Behavioral
