manufacturer specializing in wall panels, floor systems, and roof
trusses for the multi-family construction sector. With a dedicated
workforce of 100 employees and a strong reputation for quality and

region. We are entering a new phase of strategic growth and looking
for a dynamic, hands-on Production Planner to join our team. The
Production Planner is responsible for coordinating job flow from
Design through Production, managing production schedules, and
ensuring materials are available and properly staged to support
efficient manufacturing operations. This role balances plant
capacity, inventory levels, and customer deadlines while
identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements in workflow and
material flow. The position works closely with Design, Sales, and
plant leadership to ensure jobs are production-ready and inventory
is aligned with operational needs. This is an opportunity for

making a visible impact on daily operations. Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Scheduling * Oversee job processing from
Design to Production to ensure accuracy, completeness, and
readiness. * Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to
meet customer deadlines and production goals. * Reprioritize work
based on capacity, material availability, and changing customer
needs. * Identify bottlenecks or workflow issues impacting
throughput, quality, or delivery timelines. * Support continuous
improvement initiatives related to scheduling efficiency and
production flow. Inventory Planning & Control * Monitor inventory
levels to ensure materials are available to support production
schedules. * Coordinate receiving, staging, and material flow to
minimize delays and production downtime. * Align materials,
equipment availability, and labor needs with production demand. *
Optimize inventory flow and storage to improve efficiency and
reduce handling or congestion. * Communicate material shortages,
excess inventory, or risks to production schedules.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication * Work closely with
Design to ensure job packets, drawings, and production details are
accurate and complete. * Partner with Sales to align production
capacity with customer expectations and delivery commitments. *
Communicate production status, schedule changes, and inventory
constraints to plant leadership. * Report operational performance,
challenges, and improvement opportunities to leadership. Process
Improvement & Support * Analyze production and inventory data to
identify trends and opportunities for improvement. * Assist with
standardizing processes related to job flow, scheduling, and
inventory control. * Support plant leadership with reporting,
planning, and coordination as needed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to
detail. * Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt plans as
conditions change. * Strong analytical and problem-solving
abilities. * Effective communicator with the ability to work
cross-functionally. * Understanding of manufacturing workflows,
inventory management, and production capacity planning. *
Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic production or inventory
tracking tools (ERP experience a plus). Education & Experience *
Bachelor’s degree preferred. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in
production planning, scheduling, or inventory control. * Experience
in truss, panel, or component manufacturing strongly preferred, but
not required. * Working knowledge of inventory planning, material
